How far ahead should I book a concrete pump?
For most residential jobs, 3–5 days' notice is plenty; for large commercial pours or peak periods (spring and pre-Christmas), a week or more is safer. We confirm every booking the afternoon before and we'll always try to fit in urgent jobs — just call.
Do you charge a call-out fee or minimum hire?
We quote all-in wherever possible: travel, set-up, pumping and wash-down. Minimum hire applies to very small pours, but we'll tell you the full number up front — no surprises on invoice day.
Line pump or boom pump — which one do I need?
Line pumps suit tight-access residential work: slabs, driveways, pool surrounds, anywhere we can run hose. Boom pumps suit high-volume or elevated pours where reach matters. Tell us about the job and we'll recommend the right unit — it's often cheaper than you think to get the correct pump first time.
